Fall 2025 will begin Miss Rydman’s fourth year teaching kindergarten at Providence, and she loves being part of a school where students are known, loved, and encouraged to grow both academically and spiritually. She is passionate about creating a joyful, engaging classroom where young learners feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

Miss Rydman is a Santa Barbara native whose family has lived in the area since the 1950s—and a proud alumna of Santa Barbara Christian School!

One of her favorite Providence traditions is the Lower School Fall Festival, where students celebrate literature by dressing up as beloved storybook characters.
