OPEN POSITIONS

Preschool Teacher: Lead & Assistant

Providence seeks preschool teachers who will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally-appropriate classroom and outdoor preschool experience, aligned with Providence’s commitment to incorporate Christian values in the learning process. The teacher will establish routines, provide positive guidance, and facilitate creative learning activities to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of young children (2.5–5 years old). The teacher will work within a teaching team and must practice good communication skills and flexibility in the classroom environment.

Lead teacher candidates will have at least 12 units in early childhood education from an accredited college. A minimum of 6 units is required for assistant teachers. Ideal candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, their parents, and members of the community. Individuals with 3 units and ongoing enrollment in ECE are welcome to inquire about employment possibilities as well.

LOWER SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER

FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST & REGISTRAR ASSISTANT

Providence School is seeking a warm, organized, and joyful Front Office Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our families, students, and visitors. This role blends a ministry of hospitality with essential administrative support, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the primary welcome presence on campus, greeting visitors, assisting students, and setting a warm, Christ-centered tone for everyone who walks through our doors.
  • Field incoming phone calls and emails, answering questions, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and managing daily school correspondence.
  • Assist with registrar duties via FACTS (our student information database), including maintaining accurate student records, tracking attendance, and supporting the enrollment/re-enrollment process.
  • Manage front office logistics, such as handling student check-ins/check-outs, sorting mail, and keeping the reception area organized and professional.
  • Partner with school leadership and faculty to coordinate daily announcements, emergency protocols, and general campus communication.
The right candidate will:
  • Have prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role (school office experience is a plus).
  • Possess strong computer literacy, with proficiency in or a readiness to learn school management software like FACTS Student Information System.

Ideal candidates will be positive, enthusiastic, possess a “can-do” spirit, and embody an authentic love of Christ. Job responsibilities include planning and implementing curriculum, monitoring and recording student progress in a self-contained classroom, and instilling the values and character traits that contribute to student development. The elementary-school teacher must be passionate about the age group and about fostering strong relationships with Providence families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, a valid teaching credential, and solid experience with curriculum implementation and classroom management. Additional desired skills include co-curricular interests and giftings, computer literacy (Zoom, RenWeb student data management, Google cloud-based systems), strong organizational and time-management abilities, flexibility, a calm demeanor in the face of conflict, expert verbal and written communication with parents, and the ability to serve as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions. ADVANCEMENT ASSISTANT

Support our growth and inspire generosity to advance the mission of Providence School

Providence School is seeking an organized, proactive, and relationally-minded Advancement Assistant to support our development, fundraising, marketing, and community engagement efforts. In this full-time role, you will work closely with Advancement and Marketing to cultivate relationships with school supporters, execute special events, and craft compelling content that shares the story of Providence across our digital and print channels. 

In this role, you will:
  • Support Marketing & Digital Media: Assist with content creation, including drafting social media posts, capturing photos/videos of campus life, and updating website content.
  • Drive Multi-Channel Communications: Help write and coordinate the distribution of school newsletters, promotional materials, enrollment marketing pieces, and fundraising appeals.
  • Coordinate Stewardship: Assist with supporter appreciation and relations, including event follow-up, personalized thank-you notes, tax receipts, and stewardship materials.
  • Provide logistical support for school events, such as our annual auction, gala, golf tournament, and alumni gatherings, helping handle registrations, vendor coordination, and setup.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for Providence, interacting warmly with donors, board members, foundations, and parent volunteers.
The right candidate will:
  • Have prior experience in an administrative support or coordinator role, preferably blending marketing, communications, social media management, or non-profit development.
  • Possess strong technological and creative skills, including experience with donor/student databases, spreadsheet management, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp). Familiarity with graphic design tools (like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management is highly preferred.
  • Exhibit exceptional storytelling abilities, strong copywriting/editing skills, and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and detail.
  • Demonstrate the highest integrity when handling confidential donor and institutional information.
  • Demonstrate a deep, personal faith in Christ and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the vision of Christian education with our community.
