Originally from Spokane, Washington, Miss Rottrup has taught both first and fourth grade at Providence. She loves the strong sense of community at Providence and values building meaningful relationships with her students. Creating a safe and fun learning environment is central to her teaching, along with the privilege of encouraging students in their walks with Jesus each day. Her favorite Providence tradition is first grade’s theme days, when the learning units come alive in creative and memorable ways.
