UPPER SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

Providence School seeks a qualified full-time teacher for Upper School (Grades 9-12) Math (Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus, Statistics) classes for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Ideal candidates will be positive, enthusiastic, possess a “can-do” spirit, and embody an authentic love of Christ. Job responsibilities include planning and implementing curriculum, monitoring and recording student progress, instilling the values and character traits that contribute to student development, and collaborating with other teachers. The Upper School teacher must be passionate about this age group and about fostering strong relationships with Providence families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, a valid teaching credential, and solid experience with curriculum implementation and classroom management. Additional desired skills include:

  • Co-curricular interests and giftings
  • Computer literacy (Zoom, FACTS, ParentSquare, Google cloud-based systems)

School Security Officer

Providence School is seeking a dedicated School Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of our PS–12 campus. Reporting to the Director of School Safety, the officer will provide armed security during school hours and events, enforce safety protocols, respond to emergencies, and serve as a resource for staff, students, and parents. This role includes threat assessment, access control, visitor management, and staff training in safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid armed security license and ability to carry a firearm (CCW/LEOSA equivalent).

  • Red Cross certified in AED, CPR, and First Aid.

  • Minimum 5 years in law enforcement, military, or armed security preferred.

  • Strong judgment, physical fitness, and excellent communication skills.

  • Commitment to fostering a safe, secure, and supportive school environment.

Salary Range: Full time, $75K – $85K.

SEASONAL ATHLETIC COACHES

Providence School seeks qualified part-time coaches for various junior high school and high school sports during the 2025–2026 school year. Ideal candidates will be positive, enthusiastic, and committed to fostering student growth through character, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 

Available coaching opportunities currently include:

Upper School Varsity (Grades 9-12)

    • Girls Indoor Volleyball
    • Boys Basketball
    • Girls Beach Volleyball


Middle School (Grades 6-8)

    • Girls Indoor Volleyball

Coaches are responsible for leading practices, mentoring student-athletes, managing game-day logistics, and modeling Christian values in all interactions.

Candidates must possess prior coaching experience (high school level coaches, collegiate coaching experience preferred) and demonstrate strong knowledge of the sport.

Additional desired skills include:

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Encouraging and constructive presence with students
  • Reliable and punctual with scheduling commitments
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Providence School
  • The ability to serve as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions
