Providence School

Providence is a Christian, college preparatory, co-educational school serving Preschool–Grade 12. Providence is formed out of the 2018 merger of El Montecito School San Roque and Providence, A Santa Barbara Christian School. The 2018 merger was preceded by a merger in 2013 merger between Providence Hall and Santa Barbara Christian School. These consolidations provide the Santa Barbara with a seamless PS–12 institution whose central and compelling mission is to provide students an environment and program in which they can flourish—academically, socially, and spiritually.

The school draws on 60 years of history serving the community, providing academically excellent education in an atmosphere that fosters the development of faith, values, and character.

Providence is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the College Board and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
