Eckert, Christian

Title: Middle & Upper School Humanities

Attended: Westmont College

Degrees: B.A. History, single subject credential in Social Science

Before joining the Providence team, Mr. Eckert taught history and civics at Anacapa School for five years. Mr. Eckert and his wife are both Westmont grads and teachers.

Mr. Eckert loves hiking and exploring Santa Barbara and rock climbing indoors and outdoors. He often goes scuba diving at Goleta Beach and Refugio. He also competes in triathalons and is an avid cyclist. You might see him commuting to school on his bike a few days a week!
